The much-anticipated Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro have officially launched, introducing significant battery capacity upgrades while maintaining their ultra-thin bodies. Along with new camera setups and refined designs, these smartphones are set to make a mark in the competitive market.

Powerful Processors and Stunning Displays

The Vivo V40 inherits the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 from its predecessor, the Vivo V30, ensuring powerful performance and efficiency. On the other hand, the Vivo V40 Pro takes a substantial leap forward with the Dimensity 9200+ chip, which is significantly more powerful than the Dimensity 8200 that powered the previous three Vivo V Pro models.

Both the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro feature a 6.78” AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels. This screen now reaches an impressive 4,500 nits peak brightness, a considerable upgrade over the previous V30 series. The panel includes a punch hole for a single 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 camera, ensuring vibrant and clear visuals.

Advanced Camera Technology

The Vivo V40 Pro is equipped with a robust camera setup, including a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto portrait camera with a Sony IMX816 sensor, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. The V40, while more modest, includes a 50 MP main and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. Both models feature OIS and an AI Aura Light Portrait enabled by a ring LED flash, promising excellent photography capabilities.

Extended Battery Life and Fast Charging

One of the standout features of the Vivo V40 series is the inclusion of a 5,500 mAh battery, the largest in the Vivo V series to date. This substantial battery capacity ensures extended usage without frequent recharging. Additionally, both models support 80W FlashCharge, allowing for speedy recharging times.

The company promises a "50-month smooth experience," indicating the longevity of their software support. The batteries are designed to endure 1,600 full cycles and retain at least 80% of their original capacity, ensuring long-term reliability.

Memory and Storage Options

The Vivo V40 offers three memory options: 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB, providing ample storage for all your needs. The Vivo V40 Pro also comes in three variants: 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, or 12/512 GB, ensuring that users have plenty of options to choose from based on their requirements.

Stylish and Durable Design

Both models share the same dimensions (164.2 x 74.9 x 7.58 mm) and are available in multiple colors, including Meteor Blue, Moonlight White, and Stellar Silver. The V40 also has additional colors, Nebula Purple and Sunglow Peach, allowing users to select their preferred style.

The V40 series features an ultra-slim design combined with ingress protection capability (IP68), ensuring reliability in various conditions, including rain and accidental submersion in water.
